I--SCREAM!

Every night I get this big craving for something sweet. Normally something that includes chocolate. Well, tonight I was craving dark chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips from Maggie Moos (for you guys that don't have Maggie Moos, its just like Marble Slab or Coldstone Creamery where they mix in stuff in your ice cream...it's mmm mmm good). Anyways, I got in the car with the anticipation of the most delicious thing I could possibly eat at the moment with my mouth watering and drove myself up to the closest Maggie Moos. The closer I got, the more excited and overjoyed I became with the thought of ice cream. Now, normally when I am not pregnant, I do enjoy dessert occassionally but not to the point of leaving my house at 8 pm at night to get some. So, I pull up to the ice cream shop, walk up to the door and pull on it, only to find that it was LOCKED! Mind you, the place does not close until 10pm. Surely, I thought, this has to be some kind of joke. There was a father waiting there with his son and I turned to him with curiousity and obviously looked upset "Is it locked?" As if I had forgotten how to open doors and needed reassurance. He seemed a little irritated as well and said "yes". While we waited there, I found their number on my phone and called them to see if maybe someone could not hear our knocking and pounding. No answer. So, disappointed as I was, I got right back in the car and thought of my next stop. This time I remembered this gilato place that one of my friends told me about in Wilton Manors next to all the gay clubs. So, away I went. As I finally found the place, I noticed that you had to park on the street or in a certain parking lot. Meanwhile, I have to stop every second for groups of guys going to the bars nearby and manoeuvre my way around. After driving around for 10 minutes, I finally gave up and decided it just wasn't meant to be. I then realized my last resort would have to be McDonalds or just return home to cry to Cory. I'm sure you guessed that I got the ice cream from McDonalds and went home to tell Cory of my ridiculous journey. Moral of the Story: Obvously I need to cut down on the ice cream...it's making me crazy! LOL!

Waiting for baby.....

Well, we have now six weeks until the baby arrives and are on pins and needles with anticipation! I think even the baby is getting restless because his kicks are turning into serious attacks on my inner organs. Plus, my bladder cannot take this constant emptying. I swear, I didn't have a sip of water from 10 pm the night before and was peeing every single 10 minutes. I don't know where its coming from to be honest but it keeps coming! And, I have been getting tired more than usual with little bursts of energy which is normal from all the information and books I have read. (And I have read a LOT!) There's so many things I know we want to do but sometimes I just don't feel like leaving the house! Still, the excitement keeps my spirits up! I cannot wait to hold the little baby boy in my arms and have him look up at me with curiosity. His room is all ready and we basically have everything ready for him. I think Muppet and Lucy are a little perplexed with all the changes to my figure (they just stare at my big belly in awe) and all the changes in furniture in the guest room. They have to know something big is about to happen to their lives. We just took our pregnancy photos today and cannot wait to go see them this week and pick out which ones we like. It was actually a lot of fun because the photographers were fun to work with and definitely knew what they were doing. Hopefully, we have some really good ones that we can frame and put up before the baby gets here. Wellllll, ta ta for now....
